No details have been officially released by Activision as of yet, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t left any hints hiding in plain sight for us to find. The new trailer for Warzone was released and it might have been a teaser for what’s to come in season 2.
When players update their games to the 1.31 patch they are greeted by the new trailer as soon as they launch the game. the update was released with bug fixes to stop the infinite stim glitch but user reports have suggested that it added even more bugs into the game.
In the trailer, we see the continuation of the Adler vs Stitch fight from the Cold War Season 1 trailer, things get a little heated and it doesn’t seem to go well for either of them.
Adler seems to come out worse though, after both teams fight inside of the Cold War map ‘The Pines’, Adler gets dragged away barely conscious to a waiting helicopter.
“see you in hell” are the final words Stitch says to Adler before the trailer ends. Is this setting up the storyline for season 2?
It’s possible that this could tie in to a new Warzone map which recent rumours have suggested could be coming on the anniversary of Warzones release.
The cutscene doesn’t yet appear in Cold War, which is strange considering it appears to take place in the multiplayer of Treyarchs game.
Activision have already confirmed that there will be a new Call of Duty game this year, to nobodies shock. Fans are hoping for a sequel to 2019s Modern Warfare.
