Warzone updates should be something to look forward to, but I, like many others now dread logging into the game after an update as it seems like they add way more bugs than they do features.
The latest update was no different, Raven says they have fixed the infamous Stim glitch which is great because I’ve lost count how many times it’s reappeared.
Since the update players have been reporting bad hit detection, and problems with aim assist and hitmarkers. Players have taken to Reddit to raise awareness of the new issues.

Players are claiming to experience “phantom bullets”, shots that should be hitting the enemy but aren’t. A potentially game breaking bug that could cost you a gunfight if you’re unable to shoot your enemy.
As if the hit detection bug wasn’t bad enough, some players say their reticles are not loading when they aim down their sights and that hit markers aren’t showing for shots that are hitting but they can see the armour icons.
Aim assist is also causing problems for some players, they’re reporting that it isn’t working as intended. Aim assist is designed to help players with consoles lock onto moving targets, something that causal players may find difficult with a controller.
Complaints suggest that aim assist being triggered is now random after the update, but other have been saying this has been as issue for the past couple of months. So this one may not be entirely new but seems to have only sparked a discussion about it now.
Activision are currently focused on fixing the cheating issue plaguing the game, and have currently banned hundreds of thousands of accounts, so stayed tuned to see if these issues are ironed out.
