Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer could includes game-modes like Deathmatches as well as Heists.

Dataminers have been hard at work scouring the files to find details of upcoming modes. According to a report by DSOGaming, which received information from an anonymous dataminer, the upcoming multiplayer mode will include both Deathmatches and Heists.
The report notes that Heists will “function closer to standard single-player quest[s]”, alongside a couple of new “dedicated functions” and that both modes might rely on peer-to-peer connections rather than having dedicated servers.
DSO said that players can also find this information for themselves to verify it by exploring the games .exe file on PC, but warned that any information given may change over time as the modes are still being worked on and developed by the developers. As well as this they also said the game modes wont be here for quite some time.
Back in November last year, the co-CEO of CD Projekt Red, Adam Kiciński said that Cyberpunk 2077s muliplayer mode would be “it’s own triple-A release”. “It’s a separate dedicated production, a big production,” he said.
“And we plan – we think about it as a standalone product. Obviously, it’s not entirely standalone as it comes from the universe of Cyberpunk and is very much related to the concept of single-player Cyberpunk,”
He also noted that the development team behind the game wouldn’t begin discussions on a multiplayer mode until the first quarter of 2021. However, this may have changed and been delayed as the team have been putting their efforts into the pre-release patches and bug fixes after the games rocky launch.
