GTA 6: Leak Reveals a Female Main Character

A recent leak has backed up a rumour that has been circulating for a while, could it be that we will see a female lead character in GTA 6?

With the recent release of next-gen consoles, fans had been hoping that this could lead to an announcement from Rockstar games as to when we could be expecting the release of GTA 6.

As they months have gone by, questions have been circulating of when we could hope to see this new title, where it would be set and what direction the story will be going in, however with little to no official reports, fans have been relying on leaks that have been surfacing online.

Althought there has been some confirmation from insiders at Rockstar, that the game is infact in the development stages, there was even talk of a character that would be involved known as ‘The Mexican’.

However there was no further information on who the main character may be, although you may have heard the long standing rumour that GTA 6 may be implementing the first female main character. It has also been heard that she could be the lead characters partner or even sister, with many different rumours flying around it has been hard to decide what we think be in store.

This information was all up in the air until Twitter user Tom Henderson took to the platform to share some information that has left fans asking a series of questions.

Henderson has been know before to reveal details about Call of Duty, said “For the first time ever in a GTA title, GTA 6 will have a playable female and male protagonist.”

Fans were left asking questions and thinking about the possibilities in the game, could it be that it is a similar set up to CyberPunk where players are able to choose their gender?

Of course we don’t know what will happen for sure, fans will just have to hang on until official reports have been released from Rockstar games, we just hope its sooner rather than later.
