Universals ‘The Croods’ have teamed up with Feeding America to help provide meals to families who are in need this festive season, lend a hand by taking part in their virtual fruit drive.
Universal have launched a campaign in which they can help out struggling families this holiday season, they will be generating funds for Feeding America via three different online platforms.

The first being via the viral Nintendo game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players are able to visit the ‘Croods Cove’ island via their dream code: DA-1282-8266-2121.

On their island they will be holding a virtual fruit drive where players will be able to visit their virtual island and donate any unwanted fruit. Any virtual pieces of fruit donated between December 23rd – 31st will be turned into real meals that will be donated by Universal to families. The goal is to create up to 100,000 meals.

However if your interested in donating directly to Feeding America, you can do so through ‘Croods Care’ on their the Feeding America Website, every donation that is made Universal will match up to $40,000 and will be donated as part on the studios donation of $100,000.

Universal have also launched the #CroodsCare movement on social media allowing fans to Tweet their families and friends, all of these Tweets will be taken into consideration and for each one a Universal will donate to Feeding America. This applies to every Tweet made between November 23rd – December 31st.
