Pumpkins can also be used to customise these spooky items by changing the colours, as pumpkins grown in four different colours players must use the relevant pumpkins colours in order to customise.
There has also been a variety of Halloween costumes added to Ables and also body paints and coloured contact lenses. There will also be an event taking place on Halloween night itself, the even will take place between 5pm to midnight. With this update however came the annoucement of yet another update that will be coming in November. Currently Nintendo have not shared any further details of what this update will entail, however the released imagery features Franklin and Jingle.
Franklin the turkey chef hosts the Harvest Festival that takes place around Thanksgiving, Franklin requires players to fetch him missing ingredients he needs for Thanksgiving dinner. Jingle the reindeer appears around Christmas on Toy Day, on this event players will need to question their villagers and make note of what they want for Christmas.
These character images being featured on the annoucement gives the strong indication that these two events will be featured in the new update. These events have previously been featured in a previous version of the game Animal Crossing: New Leaf, however Nintendo are yet to disclose how these events will play out in New Horizons.
