The time has finally come as the Playstation 5 is revealed by Sony at tonight’s showcase. Fans waited eagerly to find out the price and release date of the console along with a string of new games to accompany it.
In the recent weeks Sony has been giving subtle hints and teasers but it wasn’t until tonight until the full reveal took place.
Tonight Sony announced that the PS5 console will be released to the USA, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea on November 12th, and for the rest of the world November 19th.

The price for the PS5 will cost $499 to purchase and the Digital Edition $399. Playstation took to twitter to confirm all of these details to eagerly waiting fans.

Along with the announcement came a string of games that will be released. Fan favourite such as Call of Duty: Black Ops Alpha, Spider-man: Miles Morales, Resident Evil Village, Horizon 2: Forbidden West and many more titles.
Many fans took to social media as they were hoping for a GTA 6 announcement, that unfortunately didn’t come with this showcase. Fans can only wait, with no indication when it may be coming players wait in anticipation.
